Pashinyan and the Prime Minister of India Exchange Congratulatory Messages

A telephone conversation took place between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. This was reported by the Armenian Government.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on his victory in Armenia's parliamentary elections and wished him success in his future activities.

Nikol Pashinyan thanked him for the congratulations and, in turn, congratulated Narendra Modi on becoming the longest-serving elected prime minister in India's history, wishing him continued success for the prosperity and development of India.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the continued development of friendly relations between Armenia and India and expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation. They highlighted the need to intensify political dialogue and expand cooperation in the fields of economy, high technology, education, culture, and other areas of mutual interest.

The prime ministers also discussed issues of cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats and reviewed steps aimed at further deepening relations across several areas of the Armenia–India agenda.

The parties also stressed the importance of organizing high-level mutual visits to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries and promote new initiatives.
